Each day my children get older I must protect them less and prepare them more. What is that really like? The preparing is encircled with prayer. Protecting is easier than preparing and praying. Although praying is the most peaceful of the three. Someday I will only be praying, all the protecting and preparing will be done.

What was it like to raise a perfect child that fascinated you? Mary the mother of Jesus must have spent those years in awe and surprise.

The first time my heart heard God. The words never forgotten. The promise always fulfilled.----- (From the Bible - God's Words) Psalm 40:1-3 ----- I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in him.

No matter how good I think I am, I do NOT deserve the sweetness that God sprinkles in my life. It is grace, mercy.
